So, I did something kind of dumb. I had this amazing idea for a new nail post. I’d thought about it, deigned it, picked the colours and everything. In my head, it was all done. Super simple, chic, and undoubtedly pretty. I wrote the post before I’d even attempted it, that’s just how confident I was. So, all I needed to do was paint the nails. And there was my big boo boo. A Splash Of Colour – French Manicure Nail Art Tutorial
A French Manicure is a classic look which everybody loves. It’s smart, casual, shows off your nails and is effortlessly timeless. It’s one of them things that will forever be in fashion. Because this is such an iconic look, I thought it was about time I dedicated a post to it. An ode to a classic and a simple how-to guide.
But then I started thinking. This has been a look which has been recreated countless times. Instead of just remaking a look, why not put my own twist on it and make it my own? So, that’s exactly what I did!
You think it would be simple. French Manicures are pretty basic, so surely adapting it won’t be too difficult, right? Wrong! Who knew there were so many different variations to a French Manicure. From different shapes added to the nails, ‘double manicures’, to adding some colour. I was so lost, and it took me a while to decide just what to do.
